A friend bought one recently and as he said, it's a commitment with all of that brass. But I'd love a golden boy myself. I have a T/C muzzleloader with brass that I just shinned last weekend. One forgets how great the brass looks until after shinned! Another very fine (although sadly out of production) lever action is a Winchester Model 94. It has a very smooth action and I grew up with a .22, and today have a .17 HMR for prairie dogs. Enjoy! Reply Write a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
